Hi, My Name Is.....

So, I guess I'll just jump right in!  This is my first ever blog, and I feel like I'm in kindergarten!  I don't know anyone!  Nobody knows me!  Will anyone like me?  Will they laugh at me?  So many questions!

Let's start with the basics.... My name is Jeanne, I live in New York, and I am a book freak.  I love books!  All kinds... hardcover, paperback, fiction, non-fiction... all of  'em!  And since I live in a household where not one other soul feels my love, I thought a place to post about said love would be fun!

Like I said, I love all types of books, all genres.  But, I'd have to say my favorite is the cozy mystery.  I don't know what it is about them.  They're just fun, plain and simple!  I love the fun covers, the quirky characters, the whodunnit factor, and the humor.  They're almost all light reads, and let's face it... with two kids, a husband who works 24/7 and a cat & a dog, who has time for the heavy stuff?

So, I'm hoping to have some book discussions, reviews, conversations... what have you.  I hope that I can introduce people to some new authors and they, in turn can introduce me to some unfamiliar books!  I also hope to exchange some recipes, household tips, money saving tips, or whatever else may come up on any given day.

But most of all, I hope to make some new friends, and have some fun!  So, bear with me on this bumpy ride through the blogosphere... grab a cup of tea, and come sit down and relax with me!
