For those of you who haven't heard yet, Jennifer started a "Book Blogger Hop", and it's been a HUGE hit! I'm sitting here saying, "hmmm, I wish I'd thought of that!". Alas, it wasn't me... but I am loving being a part of the party!
As you know, I am the new kid on the block when it comes to blogging, and I'll be honest - I entered into it with some trepidation. Now that I've been doing it for two weeks... I am having a ball! Writing about books and reading is so fun (nerd alert!), and even though it's hard when you enter into it, not knowing your arse from your elbow, once you get the hang of it, it is addicting!
Today has been a great experience for me! When I got wind of Jennifer's "Blog Hop" I thought it sounded like fun. And I'm a gal who's been known to whoop it up once in awhile, so I thought I'd give it a shot. I'm glad I did. I've been introduced to so many wonderful book bloggers and their sites just today alone. In turn, many people have taken a look at my site today. What a great sense of community I feel.
Everyone I've been "introduced" to in the book blogs has been so welcoming and helpful. It's more than I could have asked for in starting this endeavor. I've already made so many friends, and I love looking at everyone else's blogs to get ideas and admire their way of doing things. I've learned that not everybody approaches a review the same way, or even approaches a post the same way!
And that's the beauty of being a part of something this big! Each blogger has their own way of doing things and I think it's great that we can embrace eachother's differences! After all, we're all basically in it for the same reason... THE LOVE OF THE WRITTEN WORD!
And, of course..... serious KUDOS to Jennifer for bringing us all together and giving us a chance to get to know one another better.
