New Blog Layout... What Do You Think?

So I've been wanting to change my blog layout for awhile.  I felt like the other one with the buttons and flowers was way too busy.  The title was hard to read.  The description was hard to read too.  And I've been wanting to do a 3-column layout because I think they look better.

So this is what I've come up with.  How do you all like it?  Is it easy to read?  Easy to navigate?
Some day when I have some money (I won't hold my breath) I want to do a custom blog design, but right now the budget is extremely tight.  For right now, I think I'm happy with this layout and background.

Sad Time For The New York Yankees

Some of you may know.... I am a HUGE Yankees fan.

This has been a sad week for New Yorkers, the Yankees, and their fans.

A couple of days ago Bob Sheppard, "the voice of Yankee Stadium" died.  He was 99 years old.  He was the PA announcer at Yankee Stadium for some 57 years.

Now, I am watching CNN... more like GLUED to CNN because Yankees' owner, George Steinbrenner has died.  He had a massive heart attack at 80 years of age.

This is a HUGE blow for the Yankees.  Whether you loved or hated him, he was "The Boss"!

Tonight is Major League Baseball's annual All-Star game, being played in Anaheim, CA.  Of course, some of my boys will be playing their positions for the American league.  Derek Jeter, Alex Rodriguez, Robbie Cano, Nick Swisher, Jorge Posada, and of course my all time fave.... Andy Pettitte are due on the field tonight.  I'm sure they will all have a hard time concentrating on the game when their thoughts will be on Steinbrenner.


I know this is all off topic.  I just wanted to weigh in if any of you are Yankee fans.
