Have You Tried Using SWAGBUCKS? Seriously, You Should Try It!

So, for about six months now, I have been using Swagbucks.  At first, I was like, "what is it? How do you use it?  And, how much is it gonna cost me?"

First things first.  Swagbucks is an awesome website where you can rack up "bucks" by finding codes, doing searches, etc.  You use it by the same means... finding codes and doing searches.  And lastly, it doesn't cost a thing!

When I joined, I downloaded the "toolbar" which has been great for searching the web.  Sometimes (okay, a LOT of times) when I do a search, I will win swagbucks.  For example, say I search "crockpot recipes".  When the results page comes up, there's an announcement at the top that says, "Congratulations, you just won 14 (or however many.. it's different every time) swagbucks!".
Then, your points are tallied automatically.

Also, sometimes there are "codes" that you have to copy and paste that award you bucks, too.  You should follow the blog (which is very easy to do) because that's where you find many of the codes.  For example, there is a code in the blog today, so I copied & pasted it, and was awarded 9 swagbucks.
Sometimes "the swag guy" will hide a code throughout the site somewhere, like in the Swag Store, or on the Swagbucks Facebook page.

When you have enough bucks saved up, you can redeem them for a whole host of stuff in the store.  My favorite way to redeem my bucks is for amazon gift cards.... well, for obvious reasons.  So far, I have redeemed 6 $5.00 cards that I am saving in my account on amazon.  I think I am going to save up for a Kindle.  Because, really... it's not costing me anything.  It's like gettting one for FREE!

There are all kinds of other activities you can partake in to gain bucks.  Some of them are time consuming, but some of them (like searching with the toolbar) are so easy, it really is like getting something for free.

If you sign up (doesn't cost a dime!), and tell your friends... if they sign up under your name, then you will win bucks every time they win bucks!  Which is great.  I don't have anyone signed up under me, but that's okay because when you do the simple things (like search, or redeem a code), your bucks really add up fast.

The store has all kinds of other stuff that you can use your bucks on, rather than an amazon card.  You can get magazine subscriptions, sporting goods, party supplies, school supplies, the list goes on!  You can even use your bucks to make donations to certain charities!

You can view the website from my sidebar... I have a widget there also, which is very helpful in telling you when there is a code to be redeemed.  It's right over there  >>> (look to the right).
Seriously, try it.  If you like getting ***free*** stuff, there is something in the store for everyone.  And I like that it doesn't take up any extra time.  (It can if you want it to... for example, you can fill out surveys online to rack up bucks, but I don't have time for that.)  I just use swagbucks toolbar to search the web, and keep track of the blog.

I've got $30 worth of gift cards in my amazon account, and right now I have like 247 swagbucks saved up that I will redeem when I get to 450 (that's how much a $5.00 gift card "costs").  I figure I will have enough saved up by Christmas time to use all my gift cards to purchase that Kindle!

It's fun and easy!  So go give it a try.  I am not being paid for this post, or getting any compensation.  I just really love using Swagbucks!
