Cat Thursday is my favorite meme. It is brought to us by Michelle at The True Book Addict. It's just a fun way to get us to the weekend... with funny or cute cat pics... whatever you got.
This week, I have two contributions. The first is a picture of my Uncle Peter's cat, Opus. He's such a nice guy.... a great big Ragdoll who is sweet as pie. Look at his pic... he looks like, "be sure to get my profile too..."
And the pic of the handsome black & white guy is our brand new kitty, Sparta! We (well, I should say I) adopted him from our vet on Wednesday! She had named him Skunk, (and he really does have skunk like markings, and his tail is very bushy like a skunk's.... but we re-named him Sparta. I call him Sparatacus. He is about 2 1/2 years old, and is the sweetest, most gentle kittycat! He is sooo happy to have a home! His first night home was like a circus at our house! He was pouncing all over our bed, running around like crazy... he kept us up all night long! He weighs 15 lbs., and is not the most graceful of felines. Sittin' on our heads in the middle of the night, biting our toes every time we moved our legs under the blankets! It was very comical. But my husband, who is still learning to love cats, apparently didn't think it was as funny as I did! So I told him he just needed to get used to being in his forever home, and he'll calm down!
Meanwhile, my husband said he sure does like goldfish as a pet! LOL!
